Mancini Beverage, in collaboration with George’s of Galilee in Narragansett, hosted a special tasting dinner highlighting Jefferson’s Bourbon on Nov. 12. Tabitha Forte, Pernod Ricard Trade Development Representative, Mancini Beverage, was on-site to provide guests with an educational background and tasting of the Jefferson’s Bourbon line, which includes Jefferson’s Very Small Batch Bourbon, Reserve Bourbon and Ocean Aged at Sea Bourbon. To eat, guests started the evening with assorted charcuterie and then enjoyed grilled prawns, coffee-rubbed lamb chops and fried duck ravioli for their main meal. The George’s of Galilee bar team created a variety of craft cocktails for guests featuring Jefferson’s Reserve Bourbon and Ocean Aged at Sea Bourbon, including a Maple Bourbon Smash, a Cranberry Fizz, a Salted Boulevardier and an Aged at Sea Manhattan. Jefferson’s Bourbon was launched in 1997 by Trey Zoeller, a native Kentuckian, and his father, Chet, a noted bourbon historian. The brand began with Jefferson’s Reserve and it now includes several varieties of bourbon and rye, including some limited-edition offerings. The Jefferson’s Bourbon line is distributed in Rhode Island through Mancini Beverage.
