
Mark your calendars for Sun Wine & Food Fest 2023 at Mohegan Sun. Fans of fine wine and food can indulge their appetites for both during the 19th Annual Sun Wine & Food Fest (SWFF) beginning Thursday, January 26th and lasting through Sunday, January 29th. Sun Wine & Food Fest is one of the largest and most popular wine festivals in the Northeast, treating guests to a vast selection of wines and no shortage of delicious food pairings. Across the four-day SWFF 2023 there are 14 total events, including the return of the Grand Tasting, Celebrity Chef Dine Around, and Vintage Cru. New events this year include the Pappy Van Winkle Tasting where guests can taste one of the most sought-after bourbons of Pappy Van Winkle with a special, infused Macanudo cigar inside the Clay Pipe Cigar Bar. The all-new event, Beam & Burgers, enters the mix this year as well, where Gotham Burger Social Club teams up with Beam Suntory Inc. serving mouthwatering burgers and top-shelf whiskey. Capping off the weekend will be Bloodys & Brunch with special guest Buddy Valastro. Proceeds benefit the Denise D’Ascenzo Foundation.

The 10th Annual Rhode Island Brew Fest offers a celebration of American craft brewers with samples from 50+ breweries and over 200 styles of beer. All beverage samples are included with ticket. Access to food vendors and much more; every attendee will receive a custom glass as they exit the festival. The Rhode Island Brew Fest provides unlimited sampling of all attending breweries and purchases all beer directly from the breweries in order to support the craft brew industry and a portion of every ticket sold is donated to the Rhode Island Brewers Guild. The Rhode Island Brew Fest is a private, ticketed, 21+ event. No one without a ticket or under the legal age will be admitted, including minors, children, infants and babies. Two sessions: 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Black Hog Brewing Company will host its sixth-annual Barrel Aged Brewfest at its taproom in Oxford on January 18. Guests will enjoy 2 oz. pours of more than 50 exclusive barrel aged beers from Black Hog and guest breweries. Food will be provided by Square Peg Pizzeria. Event proceeds will benefit the Vie for Kids Foundation. Must be 21+ years of age or older to attend. No children, babies or pets permitted.

The 17th Annual Kosher Food & Wine Experience (KFWE) will return to New York City at Pier 60, Chelsea Piers – Hudson River & 21st St. on Monday, February 6, 2023. Hosted by Royal Wine Corp., KFWE is known as the destination for wine and food lovers alike, offering a sneak preview of the trendiest restaurants and the latest innovations from the kitchens of today’s hottest chefs and caterers – plus an opportunity to be among the first to sample hundreds of new top-shelf wines and spirits from around the world, many with 90+ ratings.

The festival includes tastings bars for Newport Vineyards wine and Taproot Beer plus food from culinary team, live music and the ice bar. Session tickets are sold on both days for Session 1: 11:30 – 2:00 or Session 2: 2:30 – 5:00.

The second-annual Big LeBREWski, presented by the RI Brewers Guild and RI Food Fights, is a statewide celebration of Rhode Island’s premier craft breweries. To participate, guests may purchase The Big LeBREWski Passport here and then each of the coupons, designed by RI Food Fights, can be used for a complimentary tasting or pour at more than 20 participating Rhode Island venues throughout the month of March. This is a 21+ event. No one under the legal age will be permitted to buy a passport. IDs will be required with the use of coupons.
