May 16, 2018: Slocum & Sons Host Bottle Signing with Copper Cane’s Joe Wagner @ Total Wine

Slocum & Sons will host a bottle signing with Joe Wagner from Copper Cane Wines & Provisions at Total Wine Norwalk. This event is open to the public.

The brands of Copper Cane Wines include Meiomi Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, whose grapes are cultivated in the cool climate appellations along the California coastline; Elouan Pinot Noir, whose grapes are chosen from the top Pinot Noir regions of Oregon including the Willamette, Umpqua and Rogue Valleys; and his latest brand, Carne Humana, named for the upper Napa Valley land grant, a blending of red varietals co-fermented and barrel-aged.

Sammy’s Buyrite Liquors, in collaboration with sponsored by the Wethersfield Volunteer Firefighter’s Association, will host its annual beer and wine tasting at the William J. Pitkin Community Center on March 23. Representatives from a variety of wholesalers and distributors will be in attendance to pour selections. Guests will also have the chance to enter raffles and enjoy light appetizers. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Wethersfield Volunteer Firefighter’s Association Scholarship Fund.

Pitkin Community Center in Wethersfield on March 28. Representatives from local distributors and suppliers, along with Fire Department volunteers, will pour a variety of fine wine, spirits and craft beer selections for guests. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Wethersfield Volunteer Firefighter’s Association Scholarship Fund.
