The 4th Annual Fire & Ice Festival will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 in the streets of downtown Putnam. The event is the largest single ice block carving competition in the U.S. where patrons can watch live ice carving demonstrations and a wedding cake competition called “The Icing on the Cake”.  A professional ice carving demonstration will be at 2:30 p.m. Over 20 300-pound ice blocks will be carved by professionals, amateurs and students from 12-5 pm. Attendees will also have the chance to shop, view a community art installation and take advantage of food and drink specials at nearby restaurants. SKKY Vodka will be featured at the ice bar among other brands and vendors.  At 5 and 7 p.m., fire torches will be lit and visitors will be treated to a live show featuring Sasha the Fire Gypsy.

Participating wineries include: Bishop’s Orchards, Brignole Vineyards, DiGrazia Vineyards, Holmberg Orchard and Winery, Hopkins Vineyard, Johnathan Edwards Winery, Jones Winery, Miranda Vineyard, Paradise Hill Vineyards, Priam Vineyards, Savino Vineyards, Sharpe Hill Vineyards, Staehly Farm Winery, Sunset Meadow Vineyards, Taylor Brooke Winery and White Silo Winery.
