Each seminar will feature presentations from a panel of industry experts on topics including Wage & Hour Audits, Tip Pooling, Overtime Rules, Immigration Enforcement, Sexual Harassment Training, Mandatory FMLA, Server Side-Work and Exempt vs Non-Exempt Classification. Guest Panelists will be Ryan O’Donnell, CRA Legal Counsel, Siegel, O’Connor, O’Donnell & Beck; Daryl DeMarco, Restaurant HR Consultant, HRCT, LLC; Dave Kaletski, Partner, Datapay Payroll Services; and Nicole Griffin, CRA Contract Lobbyist, Powers, Griffin & Hill. Bad Sons Beer Co. and Smoke in the Valley present the Brewers Ball Home Brew Festival at Bad Sons Beer Co. in Derby on July 17. Guests will have the opportunity to sample more than 60 beers in a variety of styles paired with eats from local food vendors. More event entertainment will include games, shopping local vendors and a People’s Choice competition.

Bad Sons Beer Co., in cooperation with Smoke in the Valley, will host the annual Brewers Ball Home Brew Festival at its brewery in Derby on April 15, 2023. Guests will be treated to pours of more than 60 brews in a variety of styles with a chance to cast their votes for their favorites in the People’s Choice Competition.
