
Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), in collaboration with Norwalk’s El Segundo, hosted a sunset boat cruise showcasing Tequila Mi Campo and wines from The Prisoner Wine Co. in Norwalk on July 24. During the excursion that sailed passengers to view three historic lighthouses in Norwalk Harbor, guests of the Sheffield Island Ferry were treated to cocktails featuring Tequila Mi Campo and several wines from The Prisoner Wine Co., including its Unshackled Chardonnay, Napa Valley Red Blend, Blindfold White Pinot Noir and Saldo Chenin Blanc. Based in Napa Valley, the award-winning The Prisoner Wine Co. creates unique wines under the management of Director of Winemaking Chrissy Wittman and her team, in coordination with more than 100 growers from Northern California. Available in Blanco, Reposado and Añejo, Tequila Mi Campo is crafted using high-quality agave and tequila production methods. Made from 100% blue Weber agave, the piñas are squeezed—not crushed—then cooked in stone ovens. Mi Campo Blanco Tequila is rested in white wine barrels and the Reposado is aged in red wine barrels.
