Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), continued its annual holiday tradition in 2024 by collecting gifts and donations for the Sterling House Community Center in Stratford. Led by Andrea LaBella, CDI’s Pricing, Profit and Inventory Manager, the initiative provided 140 gifts that matched the community’s “most wanted” toys and items. The company also collected $1,100 in gift cards for teens, allowing them to choose their gifts or enjoy treats like coffee and snacks. The drive culminated in the Annual Community Christmas event at Sterling House, where volunteers organized and distributed toys, clothing, hats, coats, mittens and stocking stuffers to children in Stratford. The Sterling House Resource Connection Program, which offers basic needs assistance to individuals and families, was instrumental to the event’s success. “Team CDI’s participation in this year’s event was a testament to their commitment to community service and a continuation of Sterling House’s long-standing mission to serve and uplift every community member,” said Amanda Meeson, Executive Director, Sterling House. “Their dedication and generous contributions were vital in bringing joy to many families and epitomized the very essence of Sterling House’s founding principles.”
