Connecticut Distributors, Inc., sales representatives enjoyed the opportunity to deepen their understanding of IIegal Mezcal during an immersive training session led by Herminio Torres, the brand’s General Manager. The presentation covered the history of Ilegal, highlighting the origins and traditions that define the brand today. Originating from Oaxaca, Mexico, Ilegal Mezcal is crafted from sustainably grown Espadín agave. The mezcal is known for its balanced profile, characterized by a bold agave flavor with a subtle hint of smoke. It is produced in small batches by fourth-generation mezcaleros. The April training session provided insight into the artisanal methods employed, while Torres underscored the brand’s commitment to environmental sustainability, notably its use of 100% post-consumer recycled glass bottles amid a global glass shortage. The educational experience gave the team valuable knowledge to enhance their marketing strategies and customer interactions.
