Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), welcomed De Nada Tequila’s Danny Neeson, Co-founder and President, and Adam Millman, Co-founder and CEO, to its sales meeting on Sept. 3. During a general sales meeting at the distributor’s Stratford headquarters, the CDI sales team enjoyed lunch paired with cocktails featuring De Nada Tequila while learning the story from the brand’s beginnings told by its founders. Millman and Neeson set out to create a tequila brand that is made sustainably while giving consumers a spirit with exceptional quality. De Nada Tequila is crafted at the esteemed Vivanco Distillery in Arandas, Mexico, by Master Distillers Sergio Cruz and Cesar Vivanco, whose dedication to tradition and excellence aligns perfectly with De Nada’s mission, resulting in a product that is as authentic as it is innovative. The distillery hand-picks only the finest blue Weber agave, ensuring that every batch meets the highest standards. The tequila is made using a meticulous process that includes roller mill extraction to reduce bitterness, with all excess being composted. The brand also boasts certifications that include being additive-free, certified carbon neutral and certified kosher. De Nada is the first in the tequila category to offer a recyclable and sustainable aluminum bottle, emphasizing its dedication to preserving the environment. It’s available in two distinct expressions: Blanco, known for its smooth, agave-forward profile with hints of vanilla and lime, and Reposado, aged in ex-bourbon American oak barrels, offering alluring notes of vanilla, caramel and oak with a smoky finish.
