Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), held its inaugural Women and Wine meeting on April 18. An initiative founded by CDI team members Dana Badway and Tamara Ferrara, the inclusive group aims to engage women through educational and outreach programs while providing resources to navigate the wine and spirits industry in the state. Its mission is to “Win” through collaboration, “Inspire” through shared experiences, “Navigate” through education and “Engage” through meaningful connections. The company said CDI values the power of connection and collaboration and will continue to champion diversity and inclusion within the wine and spirits industry. Women and Wine represents a significant milestone in CDI’s ongoing commitment to celebrate the voices and experiences of women in the industry. The company was thrilled to launch this first-ever initiative and provide a welcoming space for women to explore their passion for the wine and spirits industry, organizers explained during the kickoff event.
