October saw the team from Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), visit Fred Minnick’s Club Marzipan in Key West, Florida. The renowned Hemingway Distillery in Key West marked a significant milestone by hosting a party celebrating its inaugural Hemingway Rye Whiskey barrel pick. Celebrity whiskey connoisseur and writer Fred Minnick, along with members of his whiskey club, made the selection. The event further solidified the distillery’s commitment to innovation and quality, as they continue to collaborate with industry experts and enthusiasts alike. Terry O’Connor, Fine Wine & Spirits Specialist, CDI, and his wife, Rhea, were among the guests celebrating the whiskey selection with the Hemingway Rye sales team. Hemingway Rye Whiskey Signature Edition is a 102-proof, 51% ABV blend of straight rye whiskeys finished in rum-seasoned Oloroso sherry casks. It is distributed in the state by CDI.
