
The Coast Guard House in Narragansett hosted a beer dinner highlighting Guinness on April 12. Guest host Michael Reardon, Guinness Brewery Ambassador, led guests through a tasting of the Guinness lineup, which includes Guinness Blonde, Guinness 200th Anniversary, Guinness Extra Stout, Guinness Stout Draft and Guinness Foreign Extra Stout. Guests enjoyed a five-course meal paired to each offering as prepared by The Coast Guard House kitchen team.
- During the Guinness beer pairing dinner, guests tasted the Guinness beer lineup, including Guinness Blonde, Guinness 200th Anniversary, Guinness Extra Stout, Guinness Stout Draft and Guinness Foreign Extra Stout.

- The first course, Leche de Tigre: red snapper, cilantro, onions and dried corn was paired with Guinness Blonde.
- Guinness 200th Anniversary Export Stout has notes of caramel, toffee and chocolate.
- Jamie Chernesky, Pastry Chef, The Coast Guard House presented the dessert she prepared: crèmeux with a fig reduction and fiddle faddle smoked salt, paired with Guinness Foreign Extra Stout.
- Bacon Lollipops of spicy maple, savory chocolate, sweet and sour, paired with Guinness Extra Stout.
- Guinness Stout Draft paired with stout-braised short ribs .potato galette, and braised cabbages.
