Coast Guard House Welcomes New Zealand Winemaker

By June 24, 2025Rhode Island, Top News

Narragansett’s Coast Guard House, in collaboration with MS Walker and Winebow Imports, hosted a pairing dinner featuring wines from Nautilus Estate on May 13. Clive Jones, Winemaker/General Manager, Nautilus Estate, was in attendance to present the wines to guests with Tristan Lozach, Territory Manager, Pioneer Division, Winebow Imports, and Elisa Wybraniec, Wine Director, The Coast Guard House. Guests enjoyed a decadent four-course dinner paired with Nautilus Cuvée Brut NV, Sauvignon Blanc, Paper Road Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. Located in Marlborough, New Zealand, the estate crafts its wines using sustainable farming and state-of-the-art winemaking techniques for complex yet food-friendly wines. Nautilus wines are made from grapes grown in two neighboring wineries—one dedicated to Pinot Noir and one devoted to grapes for its white wines, Sauvignon Blanc, Cuvée, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris.
