
Eder Bros., Inc., in collaboration with Brown-Forman, hosted a trade education and cocktail competition featuring Tequila Herradura at Elm City Social in New Haven on May 13. Eight local bartenders created their best cocktails for guests and the judging panel: Frank Dean, Co-owner, 1928 Cocktail Club; Raasikh Muhammad Joseph, Bar Manager, Anchor Spa; and Marissa Proto, Sales Representative, Eder Bros., Inc. The winners were: first place: David Bermudez, Siena Ristorante; second place: Jose Colon, Elm City Social; and peoples’ choice: Kylie Keeley, Bar 140. Founded more than 150 years ago, Tequila Herradura is an ultra-premium 100% agave tequila crafted by Casa Herradura, one of Mexico’s most historic and renowned tequila producers, hand-harvesting, producing and estate-bottling fine tequilas from the small town of Amatitán, Jalisco, since 1870.
