Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), hosted a Community Cleanup Day on May 19 with more than 80 associates working between two locations: Painter Park in West Haven and Sigourney Square Park in Hartford. “The day was a phenomenal success,” said John Slocum, President, CDI. “The [team’s] enthusiasm, energy and determination allowed us to cover each area, thoroughly leaving them cleaner and greener. We’re overjoyed to hear so many inspiring stories of gratitude from community members who were moved by our commitment to creating cleaner, safer and more beautiful public spaces for everyone to enjoy. These interactions and expressions of appreciation make all our efforts worthwhile and are a stark reminder of our impact on our communities.” The efforts are part of CDI’s ongoing community engagement programs.
