Bacardi USA was recently honored with a SmartWay Excellence Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) because of their leadership in freight supply chain environmental performance and energy efficiency. Bacardi has demonstrated top environmental performance by transporting all freight with environmentally and energy efficient SmartWay carriers, as well as using battery operated folklifts and motion sensor lights in their warehouses. Bacardi was one of 11 companies to receive this award.
