
Brescome Barton hosted a pairing dinner featuring Michter’s American Whiskey at Fire by Forge in Hartford on Jan. 18. Guests enjoyed a five-course dinner expertly paired with select bourbons, ryes, whiskeys and craft cocktails from the Michter’s whiskey line, with dishes including bison with smoked pistachio, pork belly salad, Prince Edward Island mussels and honey bourbon glazed smoked spareribs. Kenny Ng, Regional Director, Chatham Imports, Inc., was on-site to educate guests on the brand’s whiskeys. During the evening, guests tasted Michter’s American Whiskey, Sour Mash, Kentucky Straight Bourbon, US 1 Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey and 10 Year Kentucky Straight Rye. Michter’s has been named the World’s Most Admired American Whiskey and the No. 2 Most Admired Whisky overall in the second edition of The World’s Most Admired Whiskies, an annual top 50 list released by Drinks International judged by an international panel of independent whisky experts. Michter’s President Joseph J. Magliocco was inducted into the Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame in 2023, joining Andrea Wilson, Michter’s Master of Maturation and COO, who received the same honor in 2022.
