Lorenzo Marotti Campi traveled from the Marche region of Italy to Connecticut in June for a wine dinner at Fornarelli’s Ristorante in New Haven. He mingled with guests as they tasted his rare wines. The Marotti Campi family has made wine for over a century and is one of only three producers in the world growing the highly floral Lacrima di Morro d’Alba varietal. Shortly after the wine dinner, Marotti Campi Verdicchio Luzano was featured on “The Food Schmooze®” on WNPR. Host Faith Middleton called it, “a great summer wine.” Marotti Campi is distributed in Connecticut by Cellar Fine Wines.
