Barrington’s Grapes & Grains hosted an in-store tasting highlighting Westerly’s South County Distillers on May 23. Shoppers enjoyed tastes of South County Craft Cocktails in Limoncello Spritz, Strawberry Lemonade and Vodka Lemonade, which feature South County Distillers Vodka, and its Paloma and Rhode Island Ranch Water canned cocktails, which are crafted using South County Distillers Agave Spirit. Lauren San Souci, Brand Ambassador, South County Distillers, joined the Grapes & Grains team to provide personalized brand education and pour selections. Launched in 2020 as a sister company to Grey Sail Brewing, South County Distillers produces its spirits entirely in-house, which include Botanical Rum, Rum, Vodka, Gin, Limoncello and Agave Spirit. South County Distillers’ barrel-aged spirits include Bourbon, Rye, Barrel Rested Gin, Spirit of Captain’s Daughter, Agave Añejo and Agave Reposado. Both Grey Sail Brewing and South County Distillers are distributed in Rhode Island via McLaughlin & Moran, Inc.
