Hamden’s Mikro Beer Bar, in collaboration with Michael’s Greenhouses of Cheshire, hosted the 10th annual Greenhouse Beer Festival on April 6. Plants were in full bloom as guests walked through Michael’s Greenhouses, one of the largest greenhouses in the state, while sampling craft brews, ciders and seltzers from more than 20 local breweries and cideries. The Bob Stump Band played live bluegrass music as a soundtrack to the afternoon. Proceeds benefited the Feeding Families Foundation and Smilow Cancer Hospital.
