Grey Sail, Outer Light Brew New Collaboration Beer

Grey Sail Brewing Company of Rhode Island and Outer Light Brewing Company presented new beer releases Step Sisters and Hoppy Beerday.

Grey Sail Brewing of Rhode Island and Outer Light Brewing Company jointly announced their first collaboration beer, Step Sisters, since their partnership began earlier this year. Step Sisters is a bold hop-forward IPA bursting with citrus, pine and smooth bitterness. The 16-ounce beer is available in Connecticut and Rhode Island. “Brewing Step Sisters was the perfect way to kick off this new chapter for Grey Sail and Outer Light combining our shared passion and creativity—and it shows in the beer,” said Carey Niekrash Beralderi, Director of Sales and Marketing, Grey Sail and Outer Light. “The bold citrus and pine notes from the hops really shine, balanced by a smooth bitterness that keeps you coming back for another sip. It’s a true collaboration—not just in process, but in flavor.” And, to celebrate their 10th anniversary, Outer Light brewed Hoppy Beerday. With bright citrus from Citra hops, the New England-style IPA is layered with sweet orange zest and a touch of creamy vanilla, creating a classic creamsicle flavor. Outer Light continues to offer four year-round brews, including Lonesome Boatman Ale, Libation Propaganda Coffee Stout, SUBduction IPA and Cloudbreak Double IPA, as well as several seasonal beers. In January, Grey Sail acquired Outer Light to enhance its regional portfolio of craft beer and spirits. The two brands share a commitment to the local community, quality products and sustainability.
