Highclere Castle Gin set sail with guests during the Connecticut Spring Boat Show, held April 25-27 at Safe Harbor Essex Island. As a supporter of the annual charity event benefiting Sails Up 4 Cancer, Highclere Castle Gin’s team was on hand with Chief of Staff Renee Lemieux and Mixologist Henry Alberto, joined by state wholesaler Connecticut Distributors, Inc.’s, Chief Mixologist Brenny Savoy. Guests enjoyed a luxurious tasting experience with Highclere-inspired cocktails: an effervescent Highclere Castle Gin Mimosa, a crisp and zesty Bright and Stormy, and a decadent Highclere Bloody Mary, all crafted to highlight the world’s No. 1 most awarded premium London Dry Gin. Each sip was paired with yacht tours, live music and sun-soaked camaraderie. Highclere Castle Gin also partnered with Bob’s Package Store in Centerbrook to provide guests with an exclusive discount on bottles purchased during the event. Highclere Castle Spirits launched in 2019 and was founded by Connecticut resident Adam von Gootkin and the Eighth Earl and Countess of Carnarvon, owners of the iconic Highclere Castle. The 5,000-acre estate in Hampshire, England, is one of the world’s most recognized homes, rising to international fame as the primary filming location for the Emmy-winning period drama “Downton Abbey.”
