The 9th Annual Horizon Beverage Company Charity Golf Tournament was held on August 14, 2017 at Carnegie Abbey Club in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. The tournament collected 1,000 lbs. of food and $1,000 for the RI Community Food Bank, and raised $17,000 for the Christy Squittiere Genske Memorial Fund. Horizon’s Rhode Island Vice President and Controller Michael Squittiere, whose daughter Christy passed away in 2015, set up the fund to honor and continue her work with children with autism. She taught at BrightSpots Behavior and Learning in Lafayette, Louisiana.
