The Industrious Spirit Company (ISCO) fêted the release of its latest spirit, Gemma Crystal Vodka, with a VIP launch party at its distillery in Providence on June 21. Guests were invited to celebrate the summer solstice featuring the Providence-based distillery’s new Gemma Crystal Vodka, a lower-ABV vodka distilled through New England-mined quartz. The team developed a special distilling process to increase the purity of the alcohol in the still, then proofing it down to the atomic weight of quartz, 60.0183. The silicon-dioxide-rich stone is known for its ability to absorb, store and regulate the release of energy, bringing balance to the spirit’s light, smooth character. Celebrants shopped local vendors and enjoyed food from area restaurants while having their auras read and interpreted by Bright Future Aura Photography. Gemma Crystal Vodka joins ISCO’s existing family of unique, handcrafted spirits, which includes Structural Vodka, Ornamental Gin, Patina Barrel Aged Gin, Ostreida Oyster Vodka and Blue Velvet Blue Corn Bourbon, all distributed via Horizon Beverage Co. of Rhode Island – Copley division.
