
Team from Allan S. Goodman showcased Jack Daniel’s during the regularly occurring Whiskey Wednesday at Max Downtown on Feb. 19. Educator and Jack Daniel’s Master Taster Byron Copeland visited from Lynchburg, Tennessee, to present during the showcase. Copeland, who also serves as Barrel Maturation Manager at the Jack Daniel Distillery, serves as an ambassador for Jack Daniel’s and conducts VIP tastings and barrel selections. Before coming to work in Lynchburg, he spent years learning the time-honored craft of the cooper, or barrel maker, at the Jack Daniel Cooperage. Guests enjoyed Jack Daniel’s Bonded, Single Barrel Rye, Sinatra Select and a signature craft cocktail designed by Bar Manager Szabolcs Geiger. Tastes were accompanied by small bites created by Chef Chris Sheehan.
