Jonathan Edwards Winery hosted a Mardi Gras-themed celebration, “A Night in Nola,” at its Stonington winery and vineyards on March 2. Guests dressed in Fat Tuesday attire and enjoyed New Orleans-style food along with wines from Jonathan Edwards. Lively entertainment brought a bit of the Big Easy to Connecticut, including jazz music by Providence, Rhode Island-based singer Miss Wensday and performances by retro-style dance troupe the TropiGals. Jonathan Edwards Winery is located on a 48-acre hilltop, about nine miles from the Long Island Sound. Jonathan Edwards handcrafts both premium Napa Valley, California and Estate Connecticut wines to highlight each coasts’ unique climate.
