Loch Lomond Group has acquired Brooklyn’s New York Distilling Company (NYDC), adding American whiskey to its portfolio of premium brands, including Jaywalk Rye Whiskey. The Scottish spirits producer, which counts Loch Lomond Single Malt Scotch Whisky, single malts Glen Scotia and Littlemill, Glen’s Vodka, Ben Lomond Gin and Champagne Piaff among its brands, announced its purchase of the U.S.-based business on May 21. Loch Lomond Group signed a new U.S. distribution agreement with Foley Family Wines & Spirits in 2024. In addition to Jaywalk Rye, the acquisition includes other NYDC brands such as Mister Katz’s Rock & Rye, Dorothy Parker Gin and Perry’s Tot Navy Strength Gin.
