Gregory Balogh is set to retire as head of Louis Roederer’s U.S. operations on June 30 after 27 years. Guillaume Fouilleron, who is currently Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and a 24-year company veteran, will succeed Balogh as President and CEO of Maisons Marques & Domaines USA and CEO of Roederer’s U.S. ventures. Frédéric Rouzaud, President and CEO of Maison Louis Roederer and seventh-generation leader of the family business, said Balogh’s “leadership has been instrumental to our growth.” Balogh will remain as Strategic Advisor to the Chairman and to the President/CEO until the end of 2022. Gregory steered the family-owned company’s U.S. operations since 1994, growing its imports and domestic portfolio, as well as strategic acquisitions in California.
