Vermont’s Champlain Orchards Farmstead Apple Cider. Its Cider for Good campaign will benefit the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.

Mancini Beverage – C&C Distributors division highlighted Shoreham, Vermont’s Champlain Orchards ciders in its portfolio offerings as it readied for a February charitable effort. Established in 1998, Champlain Orchards is among one of the oldest continually operating orchards in Vermont, growing more than 175 varieties of Eco-certified apples, peaches, pears, plums, cherries, nectarines and berries. With the recent implementation of its Cider for Good campaign, Sales and Marketing Director Ben Rule announced that all Champlain cider sales made by the Mancini team, along with its retail partners promoting the brand to consumers, will result in a donation of apples to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank to help feed and nourish those in need. Fourth-quarter sales generated a donation of 1,080 pounds of fresh apples, which arrived in Providence mid-February. Champlain Orchards has implemented this program throughout the Northeast. The brand’s core lineup includes Farmstead Apple Cider, Kingston Dry, Mac & Maple and Citra Cider. Also included are a half dozen limited-release offerings that are produced yearly.
