May Meeting Sees New Brands at Brescome Barton

By June 1, 2024Connecticut, Top News

Brescome Barton hosted a May 3 sales meeting featuring several new brand kickoffs. Guests were on hand to present the new offerings. First, team from Conte Camillo Negroni visited to outline their ready-to-sip Negroni. Named for a 19th-century Italian nobleman who emigrated to New York City and is credited with the origin of the negroni cocktail, the bottled negroni creates a convenient craft cocktail. Second, Trivento Reserve White Malbec from Argentina by Winemaker Maximiliano is newly released to the U.S. and a different way to enjoy the Argentinean flagship varietal red grape. Third, Kawama Tequila & Soda Sparkling Tequila Tea launched as the first-ever “teaquila” sparkling seltzer. Made with Blanco tequila, brewed black tea, lemon juice and a touch of cane sugar, no added sugars, light carbonation, it’s 4.5% ABV and only 99 calories. Also launched was Ferrari-Carano Pinot Grigio, crafted from vineyards in California and fermented exclusively in stainless steel for a crisp, clean, refreshing white wine. Finally, Lighthouse Gin, inspired by the Cape Palliser Lighthouse at the southernmost remote tip of New Zealand’s North Island, is handmade by Rachel Hall, New Zealand’s first female Head Distiller. The gin is crafted in small batches using natural spring water from the Remutaka Range’s ancient aquifer and contains nine botanicals, including hand-zested Yen Ben lemons, for a low-juniper, citrus-forward taste profile that is clean, fresh and vibrant.
