McLaughlin & Moran, Inc., welcomed Bristol-based Twelve Guns Brewing to its statewide craft beer portfolio. Named for the 12 guns from the Rhode Island Naval vessel the USS Providence, which served in the Revolutionary War under the Continental Navy, the brewery was founded by Kyle Michaud. Its beer is brewed on-site with a 10-barrel all-electric brewhouse. Each beer is packaged in 4-packs of 12 oz. or 16 oz. cans, including The Meg American Blonde Ale, Port of Call NEIPA and Torpedo Station IPA, as well as its Cannon & Anchor hard seltzers, 5% ABV, with 0 carbs, 0 sugars and 99 calories per can. Each is made with all-natural flavoring and no gluten added, sold in mixed 12-packs. It is a true hard seltzer made by fermenting sugar water and the sugars turn into alcohol. Located on Metacom Avenue, the taproom rotates eight beers in a variety of styles, with events, entertainment and food trucks to greet visitors.
