Rhode Island-based and woman-owned Goat Island Beverage Co. debuts ready-to-drink Agave Margarita, distributed across the state by McLaughlin & Moran, Inc.
McLaughlin & Moran, Inc., welcomed locally made craft canned cocktails from Goat Island Beverage Co. The ready-to-drink (RTD) line, which is Rhode Island-based and woman-owned, debuted its first craft cocktail Agave Margarita. Made with tequila and top-shelf ingredients and at 10% ABV, each 12-ounce/355-ml canned cocktail offers mild sweetness, citrus notes, brisk tartness, light acidity and a hint of effervescence for a refreshing ready-to-serve option. Just chill, pour over ice and garnish with lime for an elevated RTD experience. “I was inspired to start the company because we knew that we had a really good quality product on our hands that people were looking for. Ready-to-drink cocktails are a game changer for turning special occasions or casual afternoons into fun memories. We knew that consumers were looking for a delicious product with quality ingredients and we knew that we could provide that by tapping into our family’s generational knowledge of making premier craft beverages,” said Founder Lindsay Sgambato, who is married to John Sgambato, the third-generation owner of North Providence-based Yacht Club Soda. “John’s vast knowledge of the industry led us to be able to create this awesome product. Goat Island Beverage is its own company but having ties to Yacht Club, we incorporate a love and passion for Rhode Island into our products.” Sold in 12-ounce 4-packs.
