Monsieur Touton Selection, Ltd., welcomed new brands to its Connecticut craft spirits portfolio. First, is Unico Amaro Siciliano, born in Palermo, Sicily, from the project of Compagnia Mediterranea Liquori. Unico is a multi-award-winning artisanal product that uses 100% Sicilian avocado, citrus fruit and aromatic herbs. Unico is soft and silky simply over ice but also makes a perfect Sicilian Spritz or a bright and unique modifier for cocktails. Next, Lanique Spirit of Rose, a 78-proof neutral grain spirit infused with steamed rose petals and essential oils, created in 1785 in the Kingdom of Prussia. Lanique Spirit of Rose is a premium spirit with a natural rose flavor and mixes perfectly with tonic, bubbles or as a “rose” twist on a classic cocktail. Last, The 1970, first created in Miyazaki, Japan, by Ikeda Feingold’s grandmother. For the last 40 years, the Feingold family has served The 1970 over three continents to family and friends. In 2017, Ikeda bottled and launched the spirit, which uses a base spirit of four-times distilled and filtered corn grain vodka infused with 19 botanicals, fruits and spices. The 1970 can be enjoyed directly over ice, with soda or in your favorite cocktail.
