Mazzetti Grappa Riserva Segni, Gin, Amaretto, Bitter and Amaro Forte via Monsieur Touton Selection, Ltd.
Monsieur Touton Selection, Ltd., expands its line of products from Mazzetti d’Altavilla. The brand was born in the heart of Monferrato, Italy, in 1846, when Filippo Mazzetti founded his first distillery for the production of grappa. The Mazzetti distillery became one of the most prestigious and awarded grappa houses, both in Italy and abroad. Today, Cesare, Nicoletta and Giorgio, the sixth generation of Mazzettis, offer a collection of single-variety grappas, all Piedmontese. Monsieur Touton has imported Mazzetti Grappa to the U.S. for many years and now expands the line with Mazzetti Grappa Riserva Segni of Dolcetto and Barolo, a five-year, six-barrel blend. In addition, a handful of new Mazzetti spirits and liqueurs are available: Mazzetti Gin, a London Dry-style gin crafted with pre-Alpine botanicals reminiscent of their native mountain valleys; Mazzetti Amaretto, a digestif made with the unmistakable taste of bitter almonds; Mazzetti Bitter, with discreet flavors of rhubarb and lemon zest; and Mazzetti Amaro Forte, with distinctive notes of licorice, dandelion, cinchona and peppermint.
