Murphy Distributors added Pure Bloom CBD- and THC-infused seltzers to its portfolio, available starting April 1. The new partnership brings the premium line to the Branford-based distributor, marking an expansion into the growing cannabis beverage sector. The THC beverage market is experiencing rapid growth, with estimates predicting the global market will reach $2.8 billion by 2025, according to Grand View Research (2022). As cannabis legalization expands, consumers are seeking out alternatives to alcohol and traditional methods of THC consumption. “Our customers have really seen an increased demand for mocktails and alcohol-free options,” Murphy said. “Pure Bloom fits that mold.” Due to Connecticut’s regulations, Pure Bloom has created cans with 3 mg of THC for the state, as opposed to its typical 5 mg cans. “The goal is to ensure a responsible, manageable dose that aligns with local laws.
