Circe Prime
3000 Chapel View Boulevard
Cranston, RI

Circe Prime in Cranston, in the iconic location of the former Chapel Grille, was transformed into an Italian steakhouse and banquet facility by new owners Carlo Carlozzi and Kyle Poland, who purchased the venue in January from longtime owners Carpionato Group. This is the third restaurant to join the Circe Group lineup, with the first two venues located in downtown Providence and East Greenwich. The 14,000-square-foot venue, originally built as the Rhode Island Training School for Boys in the 1880s, reopened in April. The restaurant, which retains some of Chapel’s stained-glass windows, features a revamped indoor dining and event space, outdoor patio, two bars and a panoramic view of the Providence skyline. “We are thankful for the opportunity the Carpionato Group has given us and for their belief in our brand,” said Poland. “We are excited to blend our style of hospitality with the amazing venue the Carpionato Group has created,” said Carlozzi. “Our goal is to provide a memorable dining experience where our guests can not only enjoy a high-level cuisine but enjoy a fun and exciting atmosphere as well.”

“This drink is a play on a Negroni, using tequila and Italian spirits to create a unique smoked cocktail with hints of citrus, oak and bitter orange,” said Owner/Bartender Kyle Poland. “Our eclectic cocktails, like wine, are designed to pair with our cuisine, unique atmosphere, as well as the changing seasons.”
