
Newport Craft Brewing + Distilling Co. hosted a Repeal Day Party to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition at its facility in Newport on December 7. Guests enjoyed Newport Storm brews and cocktails featuring the company’s spirits at the event’s created speakeasy space to honor the era. Guests also had the chance to sample and purchase special-release brews created for the event, including the Annual Release ’18, a traditional English-style Barleywine barrel-aged with hints of toffee and caramel, and two mystery brews. An authentic 1925 Ford Model T, courtesy of the Audrain Automotive Museum, added to the themed atmosphere.
