
Horizon Beverage Co. hosted a wine pairing dinner featuring Ridge Vineyards at 22 Bowen’s Wine Bar & Grille in Newport on Nov. 15. Sid Lakhkar, Fine Wine Manager, Horizon Beverage Co., and special guest Thomas Deaso, Regional Sales Manager, Ridge Vineyards, were in attendance to present the wines to guests and give them a background on Ridge Vineyards, based in Cupertino, California. Guests tasted Ridge Vineyards Grenache Blanc, Estate Chardonnay, Pagani Ranch Zinfandel, Geyserville Zinfandel and Monte Bello Cabernet Sauvignon paired with multiple courses of cuisine prepared by Executive Chef Justin Garcia and his culinary team. Established in 1962, Ridge Vineyards is celebrated for its single-vineyard wines, including its Monte Bello and Zinfandel, and its approach to winemaking, which limits additives and processing, focusing on its quality grapes grown through organic and sustainable farming that lend a unique character to its wines.
