The Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County hosted its 11th annual Newport Yacht Rendezvous over the summer, where more than 400 guests enjoyed an evening of yacht hopping, dinner, dancing, cocktails, wines and spirits. Hosted at Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard on June 22, Tito’s Handmade Vodka was the exclusive vodka sponsor and Jason Gold from Gold’s Wine and Spirits in Middletown helped source the donated wines and spirits for the gala. Dillon’s Small Batch Gin Cocktails, Press Premium Alcohol Seltzer, Château de Berne, The Bow Bar and Cape Tide offered samples to mingling guests during the yacht hop. Myers’s Rum mixed up Dark and Stormy cocktails with Regatta Ginger Beer, and Lyvely provided espresso martini nightcaps. The signature event raised more than $500,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County, where its mission is to “inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.”
