Douglas Wine & Spirits of North Providence hosted its annual holiday grand wine tasting at its location on Mineral Spring Avenue on Nov. 9. Representatives from a variety of suppliers and wholesalers were on-site to educate shoppers on available selections for guests as they shopped. State wholesaler portfolios presented included those from Southern Glazer’s Beverage Company – Copley division; MS Walker of Rhode Island; and Mancini Beverage – Northeast Wines division, with selections from importer Icon Imports LLC and wine consultants from The Tasting Company. The pre-Thanksgiving event brought out a crowd of wine enthusiasts shopping for the upcoming holidays.
