
Newport Vineyards hosted its fifth annual Harvest Festival on Oct. 29-30. Guests celebrated the season’s crush during the weekend event, with tastings of Newport Vineyards’ wines and fresh beer from its Taproot brewery, paired with seasonal cuisine prepared from scratch by the Newport Vineyards’ culinary team. Celebrants enjoyed live music by the Jake Ash Band, Take It to the Bridge Trio, Blue Light Bandits and Straight Outta Rehab. More entertainment included the event’s famous grape-stomping competition, a pie-eating contest and a costume contest with prizes, just in time for Halloween.
