The eighth annual Ocean State Brewers Fest took place at Providence Brewing Company at Farm Fresh RI on Aug. 10. Organized by the Rhode Island Brewers Guild and sponsored by BrewBox, the event featured craft beer from 30 Rhode Island breweries and brewpubs, some brewed just for the festival and poured by many of the brewers who made them. Each brewery was asked to showcase a “nostalgic brew” for the occasion. All proceeds from ticket sales benefited the Rhode Island Brewers Guild, an organization working in support of the Rhode Island craft beer community.
