Opici Adds New Brands for Summer’s Arrival

By June 1, 2025Connecticut, Top News

Opici Family Distributing of Connecticut added three new lines of spirits and wines. Blue Note Bourbon is produced by B.R. Distilling Company, the oldest licensed distillery in the city of Memphis since 2014. “Born in Kentucky, then born again in Tennessee,” the whiskeys are aged just north of downtown Memphis, where the Mississippi and Wolf rivers collide. Its lineup includes Juke Joint, Blue Note’s flagship straight bourbon whiskey; Crossroads, finished with two types of toasted French oak staves; Uncut, cask strength, uncut and unfiltered; and Rye, aged deep in the oak. New wines include Ride & Ridden, the product of a unique collaboration between industry veteran and founder David Green and renowned Texas-based artist and photographer Steve Wrubel. Using meticulous sourcing and world-class winemaking, Ride & Ridden offers a diverse portfolio of California Cabernet wines. Reciprocity wines are grape to glass and sustainably driven, offering expressions of the Paso Robles AVA. Crafted exclusively from organic grapes, its Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc offer distinct tastes of renowned French Camp Vineyards, one of the largest sites dedicated to sustainable growing practices and organic agriculture.
