Opici Family Distributing of Connecticut celebrated the portfolio addition of Viamundi Spirits at Camacho Garage in New Haven on May 16. The Opici sales team gathered to hear firsthand from Viamundi Co-founder Adam Castelsky about each of the spirits in the line while tasting through its expressions. Viamundi is sourced from small family distillers throughout Mexico and its owners have spent a decade discovering the very best maestros creating unadulterated Sotol from Madeira, Chihuahua; Raicilla from El Mosco, Jalisco; Mezcal from Santa Ana del Río, Oaxaca; Tequila Blanco from Jesús María, Jalisco; and NOM 1580 and Rum Artesanal in the Charanda style from Jacales. Each one is crafted with as little intervention as possible to bring the soul of Mexico to the United States.
