Opici Highlights New Brands for September

By September 1, 2024Connecticut, Top News

Opici Family Distributing of Connecticut welcomed new imported selections for September. Located in Châteauneuf-du-Pape since 1931, the Brotte family is the owner and vintner of three distinct terroirs and family domains in the Southern Rhône region. Its Fiole bottle, a unique twisted shape, dates back to 1952, reminiscent of the old bent Grenache vines. The wines new to Connecticut are La Fiole Côtes du Rhône Blanc, Red, Rosé Villages Reserve and Châteauneuf-du-Pape Non Vintage. Kástra Elión Vodka joins the spirits portfolio: Family-owned and artisan-crafted in Greece, Kástra Elión is the “original premium sipping vodka” distilled from Greek olives. Picked by hand, the vodka is then blended with curated grains and natural spring water from crystalline rock to produce a spirit of unparalleled smoothness and timeless sophistication. Named after the ancient castle that stands guard over the hills and olive groves of Nafpaktos, at 40% ABV, Kástra Elión combines tradition, innovation and a love for the flavors and heritage of the Mediterranean. Hand on Heart Non-Alcoholic Wines, billed as wine for a balanced life, is a nonalcoholic California wine made from premium grapes sourced throughout and offers a food-friendly NA alternative. It’s available in Alcohol-Removed Cabernet Sauvignon, Rosé, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
