Brescome Barton hosted a pairing dinner featuring the estate wines of Silverado Vineyards at Saint Clements Castle & Marina in Portland on Jan. 25. Brescome Barton’s Jillian Carey, Account Development Manager, and David Marino, Sales Representative, were on-site to present the wines to guests and provide them with the history of the brand, which was founded in 1981 by the late Diane Disney Miller and her husband, the late Ron Miller, on the Silverado Trail in Yountville, California. Guests enjoyed a six-course meal prepared by the venue’s culinary team paired with Silverado Vineyards Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Mt. George Vineyards Merlot, GEO Cabernet Sauvignon, Estate Grown Chardonnay and Miller Ranch Sauvignon Blanc. Over the last four decades, the Miller family established Silverado Vineyards as a leading producer of luxury wines from estate vineyards across four Napa Valley appellations. Foley Family Wines & Spirits purchased Silverado Vineyards in June 2022, continuing the traditions of the Miller family, with its wines now crafted under Winemaker Alison Rodriguez.
