
Horizon Beverage Co. – Origin Beverage division welcomed the team from St. George Spirits to Dolores in Providence for a lunchtime tasting and education session on the California-based spirits line on June 8. Founded in 1982, St. George Spirits is known as one of the first craft distilleries in the U.S. and offers a wide range of artisanal small-batch spirits and liqueurs. Lance Winters, Owner and Head Distiller, St. George Spirits, and Bryan Bartell, Division Vice President of Sales, Northeast, St. George Spirits, spoke with trade professionals from area bars and restaurants, leading a tasting that included flavored vodkas, gins, absinthe, whiskey, brandy, liqueurs and a range of exotic spirits. Cuisine from the Dolores kitchen team accompanied the spirits.
