
Horizon Beverage Co. of Rhode Island hosted a pairing dinner featuring California’s award-winning Riboli Family Wines at Midtown Oyster Bar in Newport on March 14. Special guest Anthony Riboli, Winemaker, Riboli Family Wines, presented the wines to guests. The evening included the history of his family’s winery and a guided tasting. Participants enjoyed five courses of cuisine prepared by the culinary team at Midtown Oyster Bar each paired with a different wine, including San Simeon Viognier paired with fresh clams and oysters, Les Glories Crémant de Loire Brut Cuvée, Maddalena Chardonnay, Highlands 41 Pinot Noir, San Simeon Stormwatch and Opaque Darkness Red Blend. For more than 100 years, the Riboli family has produced exceptional wines with grapes grown from its estate vineyards in Paso Robles, Monterey and Napa Valley.
