
Roca Patrón Tahona-milled tequila launched in Brooklyn, New York at Weylin B. Seymour’s historical event venue to a party of several hundred beverage trade professionals and guests. Connecticut Chapter President of the United States Bartenders Guild and Roca Patrón Brand Ambassador for the state Anthony DeSerio helped kick off the brand, along with other members of Roca Patrón’s “60 Hands Alliance,” the international group of bartenders hand-selected to create signature cocktails and promote the brand. DeSerio underwent product training with the group last month at Patrón’s distillery, Hacienda del Patrón, in Mexico.

- DeSerio’s cocktail contribution is called “For Those About To Roca.” 1.5 oz. Roca Patrón Reposado Tequila, .75 oz. dark maple syrup, 1 oz. fresh pineapple juice, 1 egg white. Combine ingredients in a mixing glass with ice, Shake and strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a pineapple slice and mint leaf.
