Sage Cellars hosted appointment-only tastings at the Providence Art Club on August 29 to highlight wine portfolio selections for its accounts. The Warren-based distributorship also hosted wine tastings with Remi Barrett, daughter of iconic Napa winemaker Heidi Barrett of La Sirena Winery, who visited with guests at the Providence Art Club and Fluke Newport. Barrett educated guests on the California brand’s winemaking processes and varietals. La Sirena makes around 2,000 cases of six different wines each year: Cabernet Sauvignon, Pirate TreasuRed, Le Barrettage, Grenache, Art Bus and Moscato Azul.
